“My life’s work as an artist is about shining a flashlight on the grey zones, the shadows and overlooked stories which challenge our understanding of ‘normal’ and leave us inspired by those who dare to live an authentic life in the face of limiting societal belief systems. My hope is that through the stories we champion, especially those which address inequities faced by marginalized people, we will help pave the way toward greater understanding, education, and real empathy-charged change. It is essential that queer people be at the forefront of telling their own stories and long erased histories. ”
